Lead Countertop Installer – Solid Surface / Corian

Location: Vero Beach, FL
Job Type: Full-Time, Year-Round
Pay: $18–$27/hour, based on experience and skill level

We are looking for an experienced Lead Countertop Installer to join our team in Vero Beach, FL.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience installing Corian and other acrylic solid-surface countertops, along with laminate countertops, including applied-edge and postformed laminate.

Strong Corian/acrylic solid-surface installation experience is highly preferred.

This is a hands-on lead position for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, works well independently, and can manage installations from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Install Corian and other acrylic solid-surface countertops
• Perform solid-surface seams, sanding, polishing, finishing, and repairs
• Perform accurate field measurements and verify job-site conditions
• Scribe, cut, fit, seam, sand, polish, and finish countertops
• Install sinks, backsplashes, and related countertop components
• Install laminate countertops, including applied-edge and postformed laminate
• Make necessary field adjustments to ensure proper fit and finish
• Read work orders, drawings, measurements, and installation specifications
• Work with and assist helpers as needed
• Identify and resolve installation issues in the field
• Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
• Take responsibility for completing installations correctly and efficiently

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional countertop installation experience required
• Strong hands-on Corian/acrylic solid-surface installation experience highly preferred
• Experience with solid-surface seams, sanding, polishing, finishing, and installation
• Ability to accurately measure, cut, fit, scribe, seam, sand, and finish countertops
• Experience installing laminate countertops
• Experience with applied-edge and postformed laminate
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and manage installations from start to finish
• Good communication and customer-service skills
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Ability to lift materials and perform physical installation work

Background Check Required

Because we perform installations for large national home-improvement retailers and other large-box stores, qualified candidates must be able to successfully complete a background check when required by our retail partners and job-site access requirements.
