COUNTERTOP INSTALLER / TEMPLATE TECHNICIAN — EXPERIENCED ONLY

Delorie Countertops & Doors, Inc. has been in business since 1999 and is looking for an experienced Countertop Installer / Template Technician to join our Vero Beach team.
THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY-LEVEL POSITION.
We are looking for someone who already knows how to measure, template, identify field problems, and install countertops accurately.
What You'll Do
- Measure and template countertop projects
- Identify problems before fabrication
- Read and understand dimensions, angles, radii, and finished sizes
- Communicate accurate fabrication requirements to the shop
- Install countertops, backsplashes, fillers, finished ends, and overhangs
- Handle sink cutouts and different sink applications
- Complete seams and other installation details
- Solve field issues and work independently
- Maintain accurate measurements and quality installation standards
Materials
Experience with Solid Surface / Corian, laminate, Thinscape, and other countertop materials is preferred.
What We Need
- Professional countertop experience
- Strong measuring and templating skills
- Ability to work accurately to 1/16"
- Ability to identify installation and fabrication issues before production
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to safely lift up to 75 lbs.
