Experienced Countertop Installer / Template Technician

Delorie Countertops & Doors, Inc., an established South Florida company since 1999, is looking for an experienced countertop installer / template technician to join our Vero Beach team.
This position requires previous professional countertop experience. We are looking for someone who can independently measure, template, identify field issues, communicate fabrication requirements, and complete installations accurately.
Pay: $18–$25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
Our Vero Beach operation serves customers throughout Vero Beach, Sebastian, Fort Pierce, and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- Field measure and template countertop projects
- Identify potential problems before fabrication
- Read and understand dimensions, angles, radii, and finished sizes
- Communicate accurate fabrication requirements to the production team
- Install countertops, backsplashes, fillers, finished ends, and overhangs
- Install and work around different sink types and cutouts
- Complete seams and other installation details
- Work with laminate, Solid Surface / Corian, quartz, and natural stone
- Maintain accurate measurements and quality installation standards
- Work independently while communicating with the office and fabrication team
Required Qualifications
- Previous professional countertop installation experience
- Strong field measuring and templating skills
- Ability to work accurately with measurements to 1/16"
- Ability to recognize installation and fabrication issues before production
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to safely lift up to 75 lbs.
